In 1978 Reinke Shakes
withstood 150 mph wind in a Dade County Florida test.
Generally if the
sheeting stays on, so do Reinke Shakes.
Taken in Deshler when four tornados tore through the Nebraska town. Dispite damage from the storms, Reinke Shakes stood the test against gale-force winds.
The tornado took the garage down to the ground, and yet the Reinke Shakes shingles on the house are all clearly attached. While the tornado winds were strong enough to tear apart the house next door, they couldn't remove our shingles!
Notice the tree in the back that has the trunk torn off by the tornado, yet all our Reinke Shakes shingles stayed on!
The tornado took down the tree with this tree house in it, yet every Rienke Shake shingle stayed on!
